Chief Creative Officer, Allen & Gerritsen

Jennifer Putnam is the Chief Creative Officer at Allen & Gerritsen, leading the Boston and Philadelphia offices with a dynamic, strategic vision rooted in integrated, consumer-centric thinking. Since joining A&G in 2015, she has elevated the agency’s creative ambition, pushing for bolder ideas, sharper craft, and work that resonates in culture.

Across her career at DDB Needham, Leo Burnett, Ogilvy, Digitas, and SapientNitro, Jennifer has helped shape breakthrough campaigns and first-of-their-kind initiatives for brands including Kellogg’s, Anheuser-Busch, General Motors, CARE, P&G, IHG, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. She thrives on challenging convention and inspiring teams to create with curiosity, rigor, and purpose.

One of the first CCOs to take the Free the Bid pledge, Jennifer has long championed broader access for women creators and directors. Raised by Peace Corps parents in Haiti, Tunisia, and Boston, she brings a global perspective and a deep respect for collaboration, fairness, and strong creative partnerships.

Her early experiences navigating harassment and a male-dominated industry shaped her direct, inclusive leadership style and her commitment to developing the next generation of talent. She is known for championing emerging creatives and generously opening her network to help others rise. Her influence and impact have earned her industry recognition as a Communication Arts judge, a 3% Conference speaker, a Boston Celtics Heroes Among Us honoree, and an invite to President Obama’s SXSL event at the White House..
